Choose One:

Choice 1
Using Creaza Moviemaker or Xtranormal, or another online video editor of your choice, make a short film telling the story of a clash of cultures. The film will tell this story of this clash of cultures from two different viewpoints.

For example, if you choose to use the Crusades as the topic of your film, one character will tell the story of the Crusades from the viewpoint of a European Christian crusader, the other from the viewpoint events from the viewpoint of a Muslim living in the Holy Land.

• You may use one of the case studies from this unit, or a different clash of cultures (with instructor approval).

OR

Choice 2

Using Creaza Moviemaker or Xtranormal, or another online video editor of your choice, make a short film comparing and contrasting your life today with what your life would be like in one of the three civilizations studied in Unit One.

For example, if you choose to compare Ancient Egypt and modern America, one character in your film will be an ancient Egyptian, and the other a modern American. The characters in your film will discuss similarities between modern America and the ancient civilization you have chosen.
