Tips for Success
This course is designed for students to complete a session in about a week and a half.
Want to make completing this course smooth and easy? Do these four things.
- Create a folder for World History A in your H:/drive to save your notes and other materials
- Take notes when reading the textbook and when watching the videos
- Complete assignments daily. In order to complete the assignment and maintain the necessary pace in the given time frame, you must complete one assignment per day.
- Ask questions! If you don't understand something, whether it's in the reading or an assignment that is unclear, ask the course instructor for help.
Follow these guidelines for each session
- Read the assigned textbook pages and take notes as you read. For a refresher on a very effective way to take notes, click here.
- Go to the assigned website (if there is one) and follow the instructions. Take notes and save them for future reference!
- Watch the assigned video (if there is one) and take notes!
- Do the assignments in order.
- When you have completed all the sessions for a Unit, complete the Unit Project.
